JEANNE FRIES THERAPY
Sitting with big feelings is hard, but you're not alone.
Therapy for individuals and couples, in person in Toronto or online across Ontario. My primary focuses are relationship dynamics, self-connection, cycle breaking, attachment trauma and neurodiversity.
Hi, I’m Jeanne
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Toronto. Before private practice, I was an artist and personal support worker working with neurodivergent adult artists. I then transitioned to working as a Buddhist Chaplain in hospitals with people facing cancer, families in neonatal units, and people at the end of life. I learned there that the body often knows what we're feeling before we can say it. I bring that same steadiness to whatever you're carrying.
I am warm, playful and deep. I love the work I do and feel honoured to be on the journey with you.
How I can help
-
Untangling the patterns that keep you stuck with the people you love.
-
Coming home to your body and your values, with room for your beliefs, your doubts and the questions in between.
-
Healing the patterns learned in your earliest relationships.
-
Letting the hard patterns you inherited stop with you.
-
Therapy that fits autistic and ADHD minds, without asking you to mask.
You can read more about how I work with each of these on my Services page. I'm also gathering plain-language information and resources I've found helpful on my Resources page. It's a work in progress, so it will keep growing.
Learn in community
I run small-group workshops on creativity, a group for couples, and a two-session mindful ceramics class. See what’s coming up.
